Jim Voulopos brings over 30 years of business acumen to J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. After beginning his professional career at a Big 6 public accounting firm, Jim passed the CPA examination, and then began working in the private sector for both large multinational firms and smaller family businesses.
He has been exposed to a variety of industries including retail, distribution and manufacturing. Most recently, he spent over a decade in the financial management of real estate, construction and land development organizations. As Controller for a south central Pennsylvania home builder, he was instrumental in modeling land acquisition opportunities and provided cost-cutting guidance to weather the downturn in the late 00’s.
His accolades include a General Manager’s Award for Excellence from a multibillion dollar manufacturer, and as Employee of the Week at a construction company.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from Indiana University.
